CORIUS Group kicks off the new year with a practice in Bochum

Munich/Bochum. The CORIUS Group is delighted to welcome the MVZ Corius Hautzentrum am Musikforum to its network. The addition of the Bochum practice as of 2 January 2025 bolsters the CORIUS Group’s presence in the Ruhr region and expands its network with a distinguished dermatological facility that combines a rich heritage with a forward-looking approach.

The practice was founded over 100 years ago, making it one of the first dermatological practices established in the Ruhr region. In addition to its main location in Bochum, the MVZ Corius Hautzentrum am Musikforum has a branch practice in Herne, providing comprehensive dermatological care to patients throughout the region.

Led by medical directors Dr Thorsten Auer and Dr Torsten Beermann, the practice offers a wide range of services and treatments. The medical team at the MVZ Corius Hautzentrum am Musikforum provides cutting-edge care from general and aesthetic dermatology, outpatient surgery and allergology to proctology, laser therapy and diagnostic services.

A particular highlight is the fully integrated dermato-histological laboratory which, with around 35,000 tissue sections per year, not only provides excellence in diagnostics, but also creates valuable synergy potential with the entire CORIUS network.
