German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act
When the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG) came into force on January 1, 2023, companies of various sizes are gradually obliged to identify human rights and environmental risks in their supply chains and take preventative measures to counteract them.
The LkSG requires companies to comply with due diligence obligations along their entire supply chain in order to ensure compliance with human rights and environmental standards and prevent violations. In order to meet the requirements of the LkSG, extensive measures are taken for each reporting year and the required steps to fulfill the due diligence obligations are implemented along the entire supply chain. CORIUS publishes a declaration of principles to clarify its own intentions and procedures
